"Way Easier Than I Expected"
I thought scheduling was going to be a hassle, but it ended up being really quick and simple. It didn’t stress me out at all, which was a nice surprise.

"Worth it for us, honestly"
We used Care.com to find a sitter, it made the whole process so much easier. I was kind of wondering if the price would feel worth it, but for us it did. It saved me a lot of time compared to calling around and asking for recommendations everywhere. I feel like that alone makes it fair, right? Overall, I’m happy we tried it.

"Found a sitter really easily"
There were a bunch of sitters with open availability, and I was able to find one for next week easily. I think I booked it for Tuesday... or maybe Wednesday, but either way the whole process was simple and quick.

"Quick approval and an easy deactivation process"
My account was approved faster than I thought it would be. That was a nice surprise. I got to look around and set things up without much trouble.

Later on, my account was deactivated. I figured it would be a whole hassle. It really wasn’t. The steps were clear. It also didn’t take forever to get through.
It was not perfect. But it went smoother than I expected. Care.com did what I needed. The process felt fair to me.

"Pretty easy to use"
I used the website and app and they were both simple to figure out. I found what I needed fast and didn’t really get confused, so that was nice. Not much else to say since I was only looking for one thing, but it worked fine for me.

The profiles seem real overall, which is apparently something worth celebrating these days. I wasn’t expecting much, but it actually felt like I was browsing real people instead of a museum of suspiciously perfect stock photos.

"Refund Was Handled Smoothly"
I accidentally signed up for care and ended up needing a refund. i wasn’t sure how it was going to go at first, but support got back to me within a couple of days and took care of it without much hassle. I do think the billing page could be a little more “clear,” but overall the situation was handled “fine” and I appreciated that.

"Payroll has been working well for…"
Payroll has been working well for us overall. Payments usually land when we expect them to, at least most weeks, which is really the main thing I care about. The setup was a bit confusing at first, and support took longer than I would’ve liked, but once everything was finally running, it did take a lot off my plate. i don’t think about it much now, which I guess is kind of the point.

"Better clients than I expected"
I went in thinking there’d probably be some catch, like people acting nice just to lowball or get extra favors, but I was pleasantly surprised. I ended up finding some really nice families here, and overall the clients have been much better than I expected...

I used Care.com when I was looking for a babysitter, the reviews helped me feel a lot less nervous. I liked being able to see the ratings but also read what other families actually wrote, instead of just relying on, uh, a little score or something.

It made it way easier to compare people and get a better feel for who might be a good fit. I ended up finding someone great quickly, and the whole process felt honest and clear to me.

"Pretty solid experience overall"
We found a caregiver on care and she’s been really dependable for our family. She shows up when she says she will, sends a quick text if anything changes, and the kids are excited when she comes over, which is a huge relief. It did take us a little while to find someone who felt like the right fit, and that part was kind of annoying, not gonna lie. But now that we’ve got her, it’s been a big help. No real complaints so far. Actually, it’s been better than I expected.

I’ve actually had a good experience with care.com so far. I’m usually skeptical of sites that make everything sound super polished and perfect, but the job posts here are generally useful. Most of them give enough info about the hours, pay, and what the family is looking for, so I’m not wasting time guessing whether it’s worth applying. There are also a decent number of new posts in my area, which helps. It’s not perfect every single time, but overall it’s been helpful.

"Really happy with the caregiver we found"
We used Care.com to find someone to help my dad a few afternoons each week, i was nervous about it at first. Bringing someone new into that situation can feel like a lot, but the caregiver we ended up hiring has been really great.
She shows up on time, is calm and patient with him, and never makes him feel rushed. My dad can definitely be picky, so I was expecting the whole adjustment period to be a hassle, but all that worrying ended up being unnecessary because he warmed up to her quickly.
There were a lot of profiles to go through, which took some time, but it was worth it in the end. Finding the right person has made things so much less stressful for our family

I don't want to know anything about care.com because im already a member and well aware of how much theyve changed their site since i needed them last, and not in a good way! which leads me to my question....does anyone who has had bad luck trying to find employment through care.com found another site to use which is better?? i'd really appreciate it, i've been out of work for 4 months and need to seriously find some options.

I thought this was free for job seekers? i want to try it before upgrading my profile, but i can't even read the messages i have received so far without being asked for my credit card???
